On 16 July, the collective intelligence workshop on the “Energy Platform” project was held. Its pre-figuration study is led by Energies Réunion on behalf of the Réunion Region and the Territoire de l’Ouest.
With the support of Temergie and Nexa, who helped prepare and run the workshops, the event brought together energy sector experts, researchers and representatives of local businesses. All gathered to help define this resource needed for our island’s energy transition, they made active contributions through three separate workshops:
- Gathering expressions of interest in the technology building blocks
- Brainstorming on activities and services
- Identifying key projects
Everyone’s input was valuable in defining the first technology building blocks and the relevant services of the platform, which is ultimately intended to be a “regional technology platform supporting businesses and research in the energy sector”.
