KAP’Ecosolidaire, financial support for solar water heaters
The KAP’Ecosolidaire scheme is regional and European financial support for the installation of individual solar water heaters for low-income households.
Who is eligible for KAP’Ecosolidaire support?
The scheme is open to owner-occupiers of detached houses, subject to income conditions.
If you would like to benefit from the KAP’Ecosolidaire scheme, call 0262 257 257. Our MDE & Housing technicians will guide you through the process. (PLEASE NOTE: to benefit from this financial support, you must meet very specific criteria.)
How can I benefit from the KAP’Ecosolidaire scheme?
Call 0262 257 257, having your tax notice to hand.
An Energies Réunion technician will then visit your home to carry out a free energy assessment and collect the supporting documents needed for your grant application.
You must then obtain 2 quotes from the scheme’s partner companies. The list of partner companies is given to you by the technician during the visit, or you can find it below. The grant is deducted directly from the quotes.
Once you have obtained 2 quotes, you must contact Energies Réunion to finalise your application. Once your application has been processed, you will receive a letter from the Réunion Region.
After receiving this letter, contact the company you have chosen so that it can install your solar water heater. Energies Réunion will contact you again after the installation to check that your water heater is working properly before the grant is paid to the company.
